Does Sweating Help You Lose Weight?

We are a fan of extreme exercises for their muscle-building and intense feel-good attributes. But given the incessant pressure put on you by such an extensive range of HIIT trainers and other hot yoga studios, have you often wondered about the effect sweating has on you losing weight? We have all been there... "piring to sweat it out in those hot yoga classes", "bouncing with the balls" and so on. So the question is: does sweating help you lose weight faster?

If you are thinking this, then you are among the many people who have sought out the answer to this question numerous times. After all, to be honest, it has been bugging you for as long as you can remember. And why not? How can sweating help you lose weight?

Firstly, we want to clear something up straightaway - we do not recommend any extreme method or exercise to help you lose weight. This includes anything strenuous which places undue pressure on your internal organs, including your heart. But this does not mean that you have to give up on all hope of losing weight. In fact, the key here is to keep your body hydrated!

Let us face it - we cannot deny the fact that exercising helps you lose more energy and feel better overall. And this is precisely what you should aim for - to feel good. This can go a long way in helping you lose excess pounds. You also need to change your lifestyle. And one way to do that is to change your diet. By eating healthy foods such as fruit and vegetables, you can help regulate your body's pH level, which in turn helps you burn calories more efficiently.

Of course, this does not mean that you have to stay away from eating these kinds of foods. After all, you still need them to help you feel better and live a healthy lifestyle. The key here is moderation - not overindulging! Eat only what is required to sustain your body's pH level - this way, you will avoid putting undue pressure on your heart. Just eat fruits and vegetables, and cut back on fatty and oily food.

Exercise is also crucial to losing weight. But it does not have to be strenuous like running or jogging. In fact, you do not even need to exert yourself so much. Just getting out of bed in the morning can be a great start. Walking around the neighbourhood is a good start too, especially after you have eaten a large meal.

What if I say that sweating does not help you lose weight? This is probably the last thing you will think about when you are starting to perspire. The fact is - sweating actually helps you lose weight! Sweating helps remove toxins from the body and increase the metabolism.

To do this, you do not necessarily have to wear a sweat suit. A simple towel and a few herbs (Rosemary, thyme, oregano and fennel) can do the trick. Just apply the herbs onto the body and wrap the towel around yourself - this will help absorb the moisture and get rid of excess moisture. And voila - no sweating. Your body will release the toxins and you will be healthier as a result.

This process is similar to the one your body goes through during the day. But during the night - when your body is sleeping - it does not get hot enough to evaporate all the moisture, so instead, the sweat just evaporates off into the air. All you have to do is change your clothing and you will be fine. But you must also drink plenty of water - at least 8 glasses a day.

Sweating can help you lose weight - but only if you remove all the stress and pressure from your body. If you do not - the excess sweat builds up in the skin and causes acne. And this process can cause inflammations and other skin problems.

In short, sweating does help you lose weight. But to do that, you must be able to control your emotions. And this is only possible if you learn to control your emotions. If you can do that, then there is no doubt for you that you are going to shed off those unwanted pounds. Just try it for yourself. Who knows - maybe your friends might compliment you for looking so good now?
